I was afraid you'd say that. The only presets I have on that pulldown are "Custom" and "Outdoors (Sample)" ... how would I have lost them? Could it be a legacy of my many many previous version and beta installs? How to restore them?
Thanks,

At the WB tab pulldown you will see the in-camera preset choices.
These settings are based from the make and model of DSLR....

I meant to reply to this before, sorry I forgot about you.
Where you find the "Custom" and "Outdoors...", are not presets, they are saved white balance settings. If you have location with controlled lighting, you could save the settings and then be able to call them back on any collection of shots from the same place in the future.
What you are looking for is located a little bit farther down in the White Balance tab, on the button bar. I don't have Capture One in front of me right now so this is from memory, but one of the buttons has a little down pointing triagle next to it. Clicking this shows a list of white balance presets.
One thing I have found is they are not exactly the same as the values of my Canon 30D. At least not "Daylight" (which is where I always leave my camera these days). The "As shot" has a slightly different temp and tint than the preset "Daylight". Close, but not exact.0 -
Ah hah... thanks! I never would have found that in a million years. 😉
