Have you checked the release notes that are available on the PhaseOne website?

Mainly bug fixes and a few more lenses supported, according to the release notes.

I posted a reply here, but it appears to have been deleted. I will try again.

The release notes are here: https://www.phaseone.com/Download.aspx under "Documentation".

The release fixes many bugs. However, in my preliminary testing it also introduces some new ones, including glitches when dragging sliders that I was able to resolve by quitting and restarting the app after deleting the contents of "/Users/Shared/Capture One".

However, editing is appallingly slow after doing this, with 1/4 to 1/2s lags when dragging basic editing sliders such as exposure. It is now slower than 10.0.0 and not obviously different to CO9. Phase One should consider refunds or credits for customers who have bought this software given that its primary sales feature seems not to exist for Mac users.

FWIW, I have reverted to CO 10.0.0 from backup, as it appears to be faster on my machine.

    Same disappointment here.
RAM bug (memory not properly released when catalog is closed) still there.
Opening of catalogs even slower than 10.0. Same catalog (57 s for 10.0, 63 s for 10.01) and incredible slow compared to V9 with 14 s.
"All images" bug still there, i.e. avoid selection of all larger collection of imgages
Closing is sometimes faster compared with V10.0 sometimes slower and far slower than V9.

I see a lot of spinning balls with
    - hardly any processor load (neither CPU or GPU)
    - no network activity
    - low disk activity
    - Capture One "not responding in activity monitor" and the computer behaving fine, i.e. everything else even editing images in Affinity working fine.

I too found it to be slower.

The only thing that is faster than before is turning on the cooler and the running speed of the cooler.

For me, it's working a little better.

it displayed, first time in history, quickly a tiff!

The rest, speed wise, is "usable" but deserve more attention. Also, memory bug still present.

    Thanks. Keep fixing!

I will do that and try to upload a video showing the poor editing performance. The display glitches cleared up after deleting the shared data and restarting CO10, so I am not sure how to reproduce them (but they made editing incredibly painful, as every movement on the slider caused the image to flash brightly).

And on reverting to version 10.0.0, I now observe that the keyboard shortcuts to quickly select tool tabs (CMD-ALT-1, 2, 3 ... etc) have been lost in my custom keyboard layout, and have to be re-set...

    Hello!

we noticed on Mac and on Windows that the tiif handling is a lot of better. The software now display them without issue (no lag, no wait, ...). This is a big plus for us. It was a big issue in our workflow.

    Keep fixing PhaseOne!

How did you revert to V10?

Did the process somehow delete the custom settings you had saved?

I reverted to 10.0.0 from backup.

As far as I can tell, the only damage was to the keyboard mappings for the tool tabs, where the mappings had been removed. I use a custom keyboard layout (to workaround some fun with an ISO Spanish layout), but I have never changed the tool tab shortcuts...

More serious for me are the editing performance and display glitches with 10.0.1. I have submitted a support request, but is still at the pre-filtering stage where I am being asked to check that my Mac's C: drive is ok 🙄

Personalised mappings for everything are held in user areas and would be expected to be changed or deleted (in my experience) by an update installation.

If the original update had found them (? did they exist in a previous installation of V9 perhaps? Then an update or a downdate should find them too. Or so I would have thought.

Some slight difference perhaps because of the revised default UI layout means the tabs are a bit different but otherwise no obvious likely problems. If you revised the default mappings without changing the name to be personal to you then I would guess things will have changed.

Did your backup include all of the personalised folders? If so is it possible that the backup did not contain the key mapping?
