Can't get Export Naming Find and Replace to work
In the EXPORT NAMING section of the Export n Images dialog, I can set the Method control to "Find and Replace".
I tried entering "IMG" in the "Find" field and "IMG_G7" in the "Replace" field.
The Sample field then shows "IMG_0008 -> IMG_G7_0008" which looks promising.
However, when I click the dialog's "Export" button, the operation ignores the "Find and Replace" settings and uses whatever "Text and Tokens" setting was previously set.
Is there something else I need to do to make the export use the "Find and Replace" settings?
Capture One Pro 8.1 64 bit on Windows 7.

I do not think you are doing anything wrong. I get the same output. Find replace is not in effect on export originals or variants.
Interesting part is that this feature is not available on Mac. I had not expected here, only on batch rename.
I will contact Phase One about it. Thank you for bringing this up.0
