If I use PS CS3 to edit output files of C1, I can't save it until C1 is closed. This is quite annoying. Any configuration I need to set? I run Windows 7. Many thanks.

yes, it is a bug - apparently C1 either locks the files in a current directory all the time or it tries to check for any new files/changes and locks the files very frequently, literally several times a second... as a result when you work at the same time with C1 and Adobe (CS3/CS4) open, you have really hard time saving the file from Photoshop... once you quit C1 - issue solved... which makes me wonder is P1 developers ever using C1 themselves.

I have had this same issue and I researched it, finding that PS will not save files if there is a file permission issue. Basically, the file / directory is active in C1 and you cannot save a file into that same active directory. I have found that if I click C1 to a different folder, then the problem will go away. It's not a huge issue for me

but still it is wrong for C1 to keep the output file locked once C1 is done w/ output.

I have found (in 4.8) that it doesn't matter which directory C1 is pointed at you can't save, you might get one to save but no more.

I have to close C1 20+ times a day, very annoying in a production environment.

    Cheers,
