can we make a new board for Aperture/C1P questions?

Not to be rude - at all - just to be constructive.
I'd like to suggest moving all of these posts about Aperture, etc to a new section.
Or to a new user section.

    Edward, I suspect that the recent rush of posts will begin to tail off and that ultimately it is better to encourage an integrated community than to appear to support segregation.

    That said it might be rather useful to categorise Aperture originated questions in the titles of the topics so that people can choose to dip in or not according to their personal preference.

    I figure the moderators would never make a new board for new users but some way to filter out this stuff would be really helpful.
    There's so much chatter about catalogs (issues & user-error)that there really should be a way to differentiate between catalog and session posts.

    Sorry, no new board will be created. We'd then need one for Lightroom, DxO, etc.

    Other forums incorporate tagging to help users filter through posts. I know this isn't possible with this forum but as a suggestions - for one day.

    RE: aperture users - maybe this will get PO to go all out and fix what's lagging in catalogs - as a long long time session user - I'm not so interested in catalogs (mainly b/c of the shortcomings) and when I've used it I've been quite disappointed. But if making the necessary fixes gets more Aperture/LR customers then we all get a better product.
