John, I would start with removing the preference file and the session file (*.col45 or *.col50). 0 -
Paul,
I have been testing 5.0 on an external copy of my system drive. So where is the other pref. file located? and then I need to delete the session file?

4.8.3 and 5.0 become non-responsive if C1 us left unattended for ~10 minutes or more. I thought it was a 4.8.3 issue. Upgraded to 5.0 and the same thing happens. This on a Dual Core Duo 3.0 GHz.
In 4.8.3 if an image was cropped and then I applied the CA analysis in the lens corrections, C1 would hang and given enough time, it crashes or just freezes.
I've submitted at least 20 crash reports.0 -

John,
You can find pref. files in your home folder -> Library -> Preferences. Look for com.phaseone.captureone.plist0 -
Guys,
I'm not sure why but all of sudden things seem to be better with the crashing problems? I did find out whey I had such slow connection seed. Just to refresh your memory I have been running 4.8.2 I upgraded to Snow Leopard then upgraded to 4.8.3 and it took forever for my Canon 5dm2 to connect to the computer. Over the weekend I upgraded to latest camera firmware and the connection problem was cured. I now connect in about 2 seconds. It was taking over a minute before. For what ever reason the firmware did not like Snow Leopard. Thought you might like to know.
