Just a follow-up on this ... I tried downloading a second time from the Phase One site and got a 16 MB .zip file which was also invalid. It looks like the connection quits after about an hour (56 kb/sec modem).

I found another site with the 3.7 LE download, Michael Tapes' rawworkflow.com site, and downloaded the full 20+ MB file without a problem from there. It was a dark day for many of us when Tapes dumped Phase One and moved to the RawShooter camp, at least he answered questions posed on his Users Forum.

    AZ Bill,
LE Zip file is 18.9 MB, don't have an answer why the discrepancy.
There was quite a bit of traffic to the web site last week and the volume of downloading did not help. Add into that variables in internet connections and downloads can have problems. It happens all the time.
Even missing one bit of data from a 'birp' in your ISP, and an incomplete download can happen. This of course results in an unsuccessful install of software.
For those that are at the mercy of dial-up connections it is more critical to conduct downloads at off-peak traffic times. The worst time to attempt a download is the business hours of the day and especially when school gets out. Downloading late at night or early morning can improve results.
Some users have gone to local library, university, or cafe to conduct downloads with broadband service.

    Sincerely,
    k c
