Slow Capture previews

I'm using a Canon 1DX tethered to C1Pro. I'd like to get faster previews. So my question is, is there a way to get faster previews, much faster?

    Optimizing preview generation (on first opening a folder, or after import), is affected by the following parameters:
    - size of raw file (number of pixels > fixed)
    - size of preview (set in preferences; a too large preview takes longer to write to disk)
    - disk speed (SSD is faster than HDD)
    - processor speed and number of cores

    Hey Von,

    Lowering the size of the preview down to 900-1000 pixels seems to bring the previews in a little bit faster.
