How do I get a D3 to connect?

I have a D3 on loan from Nikon to evaluate and I can't get it to connect. Does anyone know what I have to set the camera to so I can shoot tethered?

    Thanks Paul. Just tried your tips and the camera shows up in system profiler but not in C1 5. Is there a certain setting in the D3 that needs to bet set you might know of?

    Video mode: PAL or NTSC ?
    USB: MSC mass storage or MTP/PTP ?

    I think it should be set to MTP/PTP not sure. Check camera manual (or download one). Or try either one. Are you running CO5 Pro?

    Yep, running CO5 and OS 10.5.8. Camera shows up in System Profiler. Just re-installed CO5 to no success.

    Sorry for asking again. Not sure you understand the difference between CO5, CO5 Pro and CO5 DB.

    No problem Paul, actually my mistake. I'm using Pro. Been shooting with it for 5yrs now with Canon and my love for Nikon has me switching back now that they have all the tilt shifts and full frame not to mention ability to shoot tethered to C1 now.
