Direct conversion to black and white.

In the C1 PRO FEATURES AND FUNCTIONS listings it states

\"Direct conversion to black and white. \"

I've done a search here at the forums, in the help and pdf manual and I can't seem to find how this is done.

Is this supported in tethered mode only?

  Hello hlfedora (is that a name or you guys don't use your names anymore?),
  I know two ways to create B&W conversions; 1) on the Process Tab you simply select 'Convert to Generic Greyscale' under Color Management workflow drop-down list. That gives you a grayscale image and what I think P1 are referring to. 2) You can also desaturate your input profile, which gives you a full B&W workflow and creates a B&W RGB file instead.
