Web contact sheet previews blank....

An odd one here. I have several web contact sheets and all but one work ok. The odd one opens, shows the thumbnails but, when a thumbnail is clicked, a blank placeholder appears showing the 'Next' and the 'Close' options but no picture. What could be causing this? I am using the latest version Opera browser.

    Reinstall your system. It is probably Windows fault.

    Well, five contact sheets open perfectly ok but just one does not. If it was a system fault I would expect none of them to open properly?

    Yes, just dusted off IE7 and it opens in that. But...all other contact sheets open OK in Opera!

    Well in that case it strongly points to an issue in the HTML file produced (as opposed to the images or missing images etc).

    If you have FireFox, try this. Open up FF, go to Tools->Error Console then hit the clear button. Double-click the html index page (the one that doesn't work). Then go into the Error Console again. Are any warnings/errors/messages logged in the list?

    In my experience, IE (v6 onwards at least) is more tolerant than FF, ie. some pages load in IE that don't load in FF (pretty rare, it's something I came across when I had errors in a website I was developing). However, having said that, FireFox adheres to standards a bit more than IE and when I've seen this, it's because there's an error in the webpage code in the first place, which is not really FF's fault. And with so many websites produced by CMSs (Content Management Systems) these days, it is getting even rarer.
