76 character is the limit?
When I'm serving may of my clients, this is not enough spaces. How can I add MORE!
I've had on more than 1 occasion the Ad agency has ask why i have had info abbreviated and not
exactly what they have specified on the P.O. they issued to the job.
So I open Bridge CS 5 and paste the usage in the Metadata template, wasting time to apply it to hundreds or thousands of
jpegs and tif's.

Well, I can't say that I've ever seen a request come through where someone is asking for more than 76 characters. If you create a support case and make a proper request we can look into extending this.

I second the buzz kill on the limited Rights Usage field ( i assume that's what Brian1 meant). I count 64 (give or take) spaces to communicate some very important information. Please add more spaces (it would be great if you matched Adobe Bridge &/or Photo Mechanic's capacities for universality) in the next firmware update! 0
