Smart Album missing files

I am using Smart albums occasionally to sort the client final selects from the remainder without having to duplicate the files. Often with a second edit, I want to leave the 5 star images, so color tagging the second edit works fine.
The problem I am having is that if I color tag using pink for finals, for example, and then make a smart album which contains just pink tagged files, there will be a couple missing in the smart album.
I have to do a recount and go and find the other files in their original folders and process them out from there.
Is this a known bug? It's pretty frustrating.

  A few remarks that might help.
  
  First, in the case of discussing a potential bug in the software, assure you run the latest version (6.4.3 currently).
  
  Next, review the rules you defined in the Smart Album. In case you have multiple rules defined, check the All/Any switch in the Match drop-down list.
  
  Last, but not least, assure that the folder which contain the files you are missing in the Smart Album, is searched by Smart Albums of your the session. The folder must either be a session folder (Capture, Selects and so on), or a session favorite. Make the folder a favorite and see if it helps.

  Thanks for your reply, Paul.
  I was using all the latest version etc, but you were right about the need for each folder to be a favourite for the smart album to see the files which were colour tagged. It is now working.
