C1 for iPad pro
just had a demo with the X1DII tethered to iPad pro with the Phocus app....speed is crazy, I have never seen a 50mpix MF file pop up so fast on a screen....zoom, adjustments, masks,...everything is instant and works really well with the touch screen...of course it is Phocus but there is no reason C1 should not be able to do that....
BUT: app is still not available! Hasselblad has been featuring this since summer....apple has not approved it...
raw files can easily be transferred via finder or cloud services, BUT no settings can be transferred!!!! they mentioned something about apple there as well....so the only way to work with it right now is to use the Phocus app as a nice and big preview....there is no desktop sync or integration at all...
wifi tethering works well but is limited to jpeg previews, which is (again) pointless IMO
I have been excited about an iPad workflow but it seems that even with the USB C port and a solid file system there are still serious hurdles ....the hardware is definitely more then capable, software still seems to be held back by tight apple security...

I'd love to be able to tether with my iPad as well. Wired or Wireless, I am OK with both. I am not sure how that should be developed, but I have an iMac Pro in the office and not a notebook. I have an iPad Pro and would love to implement that with my workflow. 0
