CO Pro creates unwanted settings folder for Desktop
This may be entirely co-incidental, but since upgrading to CO Pro 6.4, each time I open the program it creates an unwanted settings folder for my Desktop folder. (There are images on my desktop). Is there any way to curtail this petty annoyance? The folder is called CaptureONe and contains a Settings folder for the images on my desktop. Running Mac Os 10.7.3 .

I dont have 6.4 on the system. But when you navigate to a folder for the first time in C1 it creates that folder. If the Desktop folder is in your session favorites it will create that folder. 0 -
Thanks for your reply. I checked and your suggestion doesn't apply. So the odd behavior persists. 0 -
Ditto here, it's not a mega problem for me, just a tad annoying and indeed after upgrading to v6.4
Haven't had the time to investigate yet,

If I remember correctly this behavior was first introduced with initial C1 V6.
There are threads here about this (very) annoying issue and C1 has promised to remove it for a long time…0 -

Indeed it is annoying and yes, it has been promised for removal. The problem stems from a very root function of the software so changing it is no simple fix. It will be remedied in the future but will take some time to do so.
Thank you for your patience.0
