Please create a support case and provide some screen shots. This is quite peculiar behavior so we would need some more information.

Same problem here, case submitted but no real solutions given.

It could be with too many files in one folder but same thing happened again when I was viewing a folder with less than 100 raw files.

    A bug, maybe?

    Gu,
To be fair the supporter that took your case offered several possibilities as well as troubleshooting methods, to which there has been no response.

In regard to this issue, there was a third customer that created a support case and kept with it so we could find them a solution. The solution turned out to be simply applying a style to the images and then deleting the style from their computer. The result was the style could not apply to the image in the Viewer completely but the Proxies retained some settings from the now defunct style. As a result, the Thumbnails were incorrect and the Viewer was as it should be.

My suggestion is to look through your settings and ensure everything you are applying is available on the machine. For example if you open a session, apply a Style that makes drastic changes, then Quite Capture One and delete the style from the machine you will get this exact result. This can also be duplicated by applying a custom ICC profile on one machine, then moving the files to a second where the Profile is unavailable.

That was my bad for not following up.

It was a busy period and I didn't investigate fully, and opted for the easy "restart" route to temporarily make problem go away.

I shall try what you have mentioned, though I'm almost certain that does not apply in my case.

In general, I don't mess with styles and other settings, everything remains intact and in place. And for the record, I have never deleted any capture one files from the machine, especially not styles. I haven't installed any custom ICC profiles either at the current stage.
