Star ratings not read by Bridge CS6
A problem I'm encountering is that when I make star ratings in CO Pro v7, they no longer appear as such in Bridge CS 6. Bridge no longer sees my ratings which are only visible in CO Pro.
This behavior differs from that of the past. Is there some setting that needs to be applied? Running Mac OS 10.8.2.

I’ve opened a similar support case, but DNG centric. You don’t happen to shoot DNG, do you?
With my DNGs, it seems CaptureOne 7 can only read/write metadata via XMP sidecars, not “embeddedâ€. This is also on 10.8.2, so perhaps Apple has changed something on the HFS+ / file system level which gives CO7 hicups.

The issue presents itself in relation to the camera manufacturer's "native" Raw file format, and not DNG files (which I should undoubtedly be using). 0 -
Ralph what raw files where showing the rating in bridge? Where they eip? C1 doesnt store the tag or rating with the raw file but rather the cos settings file which bridge doesnt read. Processed files still have the ratings apply and readable by bridge if its checked under the advance section in the Recipe. 0 -
Bridge can see ratings and other metadata if XMP "Full Sync" is set in the metadata section of the image tab in preferences. This worked very well in v6 but appears to be broken in v7. I have opened a support case, but after the first reply by the support tech just asking very basic questions and me supplying very detailed examples of how v7 is not working, I have not heard back for at least 3 days. 0 -
Yeah interesting I'm guessing they are working on it. 😄 0 -
Hi Having similar problems. my findings are..
Changing ratings in Photomechanic 5 Photoshop Bridge CS6 and in C1 pro7 and CR2 Files, TIFF jpgs (etc..... it should work fluently.
Using side car XMP stored with RAW file..
in C1 one has to mark photos and update Metadata (Datei > Metadadten Laden) Dos´t always work..
Because I am need the flexibility to work with these three programs i do not know where the problem actually is... any one help?

PhaseOne own Media Pro does not either read many ratings and color tags made in CO 6 and CO 7
Ratings and colour tags in a catalogue and and session in CO 8 (pc) for the same files differs too.
