C1 Pro and Jpegs for iPhoto causes crash
I like to use iPhoto on my mac for organizing jpegs for use on my blog site and also to create quick websites for clients to see images from the day's shoot.
I shoot on a P25 and I have a problem where if I create a jpeg from C1 Pro (3.7.7) and try importing the file into iPhoto 6, it crashes instantly. However, if I open the jpeg file in Photoshop CS2 and resave it without changing anything in the file, it will then open fine in iPhoto. I have tried using sRGB and Adobe 1998 profiles, different dpi, with and without icons and none of these approaches works.
There seem to be a lot of people who have crashing issues with iPhoto, but usually from files created using PS Elements. This seems to be a problem with the way C1Pro exports the file.
It takes too long for me to have to open every file and save it in CS2.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Cheers
Lucas
