exporting RAW
Hi
Can I export select RAW files to a specific folder?
When I select a file, I can "export", but I do not get a dialog box to choose a folder and all the exported filenames say "empty file name" instead of the capture name.
Im on MacOS and C1 12.1
thanks

Firstly, it's not clear whether you are using a catalog or a session.
Secondly, it is not clear whether you want to move a raw file into another folder, or make a copy of it into another folder.
If you want to create a copy of your raw file in another folder, you can do so using File>Export Images>Originals...
You should then get a dialog box like this.

You can choose the specific folder in the destination drop-down menu at the top.
The name will be determined by what you put in the naming section. In my example, the exported file will end up with the same name as the original. Because I have checked the box for Include Adjustments, I will get on my desktop the original raw file, plus a subfolder called Capture One which contains further subfolders for a preview, a thumbnail, a file of adjustments settings and perhaps a file with mask settings if any. If I don't check that box, I will not get the settings files, etc.
Or if you just want to move a raw file somewhere else, you can avoid all that and just drag-and-drop it to the new destination in the Library tool.
It's not entirely clear what you are hoping to achieve and why, but if you explained more, I'd be happy to give additional suggestions.

I guess the problem is that Im not getting a full dialog box - Going by the file you posted I only see 2 buttons "cancel export 1 original" I do not get the top section of the dialog box.

How odd. It's as if your dialog box has been shifted up. Here's an article about how to move a dialog box when the top of it is off screen.
