Bugs in Capture One 4.6
I switched to from Capture One 3.7.9 to using Capture One 4.6 a few weeks ago. I am getting used to the new interface, and appreciate many of the improvements (even though there are some things that were easier in 3.7.9).
However, the application still seems riddled with bugs, and I wondered whether other users had experienced similar difficulties and, if so, whether they had found solutions to them.
Here are my main problems:
1. When switching between two sessions (using the same window), recent adjustments are sometimes lost when I return to the first session. [Only quitting Capture One, relaunching and then switching solves the problem.]
2. The assignment of colour tags is slow and prone to error
3. Renaming captures occasionally results in the wrong capture being renamed
4. A Finder warning "This document’s file has been changed by another application since you opened or saved it." regularly comes up for no apparent reason.
5. IIQ files appear to be identical in size to TIFs when I thought they were supposed to be smaller (I am capturing from a tethered H25; does IIQ work with an H25?)
6. When processing several images in a batch (either using shift and tool bar process, or using process from the menu), some fail to process. [Seems to be linked with any activity in any other application.]
An additional problem I had was accidentally using the 4.6.1 upgrade. I have since reverted to 4.6.
I tried removing preference files, crash reports and batch lists as recommended by other users, but my problems have not been solved.
Any feedback would be welcome....
