Does one lose CO6 after upgrading to CO7?

When one upgrades from Capture One Pro 6 to 7, can both CO6 and CO7 coexist and be usable?

One of my friends upgraded to CO7 from CO6. His CO6 key was deactivated and could no longer launch CO6.

In the meantime he's having a lot of instability issues with CO7. The screen flickering is one of those. I told him to turn off OpenCL support to see if that helps. He had no issues with CO6.

    Key here is that the CO7 license key, which replaces your CO6 key after upgrade, can be used to activate (and use) CO6 and earlier.

    I have CO6 and CO7 installed on the same system, activated both with the CO7 key and it is counted as one (1) activation.
    It does not get any better than this! 😉
