Importing/new session

Please help. Whenever I import from a memory card into a NEW SESSION folder, once completed, the new session folder contains all the photos from the previous folder I was viewing. I'm clearly doing something wrong but it's driving me insane.

    You need to tell us more about what you are doing, I think. When you create a new session, how are you doing so? Are you using the default session structure (with a Capture folder, a Selects folder, an Output folder and a Trash folder)? Do you have more than one session open at once? (When you create the new session, there is a checkbox for Open in New Window. It is perhaps best to leave that unchecked, so that your new session is the only one open. (And there is a checkbox in the General section of Preferences for catalogs and sessions to open in a new window. Unless you actually need to have more than one catalog or session open at once, leave that unchecked.)
