live view not supported for the connected device using PTP
Live view no longer working after recent firmware 2.0 on the GFX 100 which included benefits for tethering. It reads...live view not supported for the connected device using PTP. I know this has been a problem in the past and past solutions have been to update C1. I'm currently running the latest update of the software.

Any progress on this for you?
I've recently acquired a GFX100 and was looking forward to running the firmware update for it to try out some of th new features.
I've been evaluating Capture One for tethering the GFX100, and would be disappointed if that stopped functioning......
Please keep the thread updated!!
Thank you and good luck,

As this is a User to User forum you may both want to create a Support Case using the "Submit a request" option and obtain personalised support.

I was on a YouTube Live with Capture One this morning, I asked about it in the chat there and they said it had been reported and that C1 was looking into it.
I asked how I would get notified if anything was found, they said subscribe to the newsletter.
I really want to play with the new focus bracketing system the new updates gives us, I may go ahead with the GFX100 update, and see if it breaks with C1...if so, I'll try to cobble together the camera, C1, computer, tethering and the Fuji iOS wireless tools to connect to the camera and fire it, etc...
I'm guessing something in there will work.

I tried connecting the GFX100 today on a Windows Surface Pro. It does not give me the warning, but doesn't show a live feed either. I'm assuming this is a limitation of USB 2.0 of the device.
I've done a support case before during the transition to Catalina and it wasn't much help. I just had to wait out several versions before it worked without crashing. I was hoping someone here would have had better luck. As I further integrate C1 into my workflow, its getting more and more difficult to just go back to Lightroom while Phase one fixes things.

The point about creating a personalised support case is not so much the speed at which you may get a solution on a one to one problem; rather it is about the potential benefits of having multiple reports of a problem backed up with log files, etc., in a way that might just lead to faster and better diagnosis of the root cause when something is not immediately obvious.
Any required "fix", assuming that no relatively simple local system setting changes will be sufficient, will need to be delivered via a the release schedule and that is likely to be quite hevily influenced in several ways by the Apple and Microsoft OS major updates release schedules. Why? Well, they always seem to manage to change something that causes problems and people are in the habit of diving in and adopting those releases at the earliest opportunity if not earlier.
So the easier and faster it is to diagnose and confirm a problem them more likelihood there is that any "fix" can be included sooner rather than later.
It's not guaranteed. Some things may be extremely difficult to fix with certainty and some may require technical intervention from third parties. But whatever the circumstances the sooner the reports and supporting t4chinical evidence are provided the better the chance of the earliest possible resolution. Plus the number of users affected by a particular problem may well influence the order in which problems are dealt with, all other factors being equal or similar.

I might have cracked this. It is certainly now working for my X-T3.
I installed Fuji X-Webcam software and tested it using Zoom (or Skype etc.). All good.
Went back to Capture One and it now works perfectly. Worth a try.

This was so crazy that I didn't even give it a try....but as a last resort, I did. Installing Fuji X webcam software solved the issue. Thank you! (GFX 100 on iOS, C1 21 14.4.0.135)

Glad it worked for you too!
