As many other users have already mentioned it's horrible!!!

It works, looks nice and NOTHING is horrible about it.
You can use this combination free of charge. I'm giving it to you. Please use it in your CSS style. Please please pretty please with cheese on top.
And here's a tip on top of that: Fire the person who suggested a white on black color scheme or give them another job. Maybe let him/her paint your offices so you can enjoy a little eye cancer yourself. But please don't do this to us.

This is COMON UI knowledge. I am surprised that an app that is designed with all sorts of UI refinements would let their customers support forum be swaying by branding.

A thousand thanks for changing the forum color scheme. I can actually read it now. I have several months worth of posts to catch up on that I simply could not read in the previous colors.
