Created metadata preset but IPTC copyright info not saved in image

Hi

I want to have metadata attached to image at import, including creator and copyright info. I went to matadata tab and added the IPTC details > saved as new preset, then imported image, but when I look a the image outside Capture One, on my Mac and go to Inspector, it is not showing up the Artists neither the Copyright info like I am used to see Lightroom always do with all my images for years.

I also tried by going to Adjustments >Styles but no success.

I have been a Lightroom user for years and CaptureOne has been a time consuming tool to manage. The knowledge base does not cover what I need, so postng here almost every day while I am on the 30 days Pro trail version....

Any recommemndations on steps I should follow to have the IPTC embedded with copyright and creators info?

    Capture One NEVER writes to the original image file.  If you "sync" your metadata you'll get an XMP file.   To make the metadata part of the image you must "process" the image, creating a new file.  The new file may contain the metadata depending upon your process recipe.

    If you must have the copyright info in the original image file you'll have to use a different app to put it there.
