    Thomas,

Are you using the the full Cultural Heritage system?

If so I would contact your CH Support partner and discuss things with them.

If not you need to find out how the license is/are registered and obtain the activation key that will allow you to install under the terms of the purchases already made by your employer.

This being primarily a User to User forum I suspect that not many people will have useful experience of the situation when for some reason an activation key is not available via a commercial arrangement as seems to be your situation.

Do I take it that you have replaced a previous staff photographer and can find no information about the license?

If you do not have a commercial partner that you know about then use the "Submit a request" option and direct a question to the appropriate resource so that the C1 team can make contact and assist with discovering the information you require.

Meanwhile, if you do not have C1 previously installed on that machine, you can download a 30 day trial and obtain a temporary activation code for that.

If you need an earlier version of C1 for existing files compatibility you may need to go to the previous version archive. I'm not sure how temp activations might work with earlier versions  - not something I have ever needed to investigate.

    HTH.
