Catalog.cocatalog not writable error

FirstName LastName

Catalog folder "/Volumes/Sandisk-64/DCIM/101_FUJI/Capture One Catalog.cocatalog" is not writable. Please choose another catalog folder.

 

I downloaded Capture one 20 express fujifilm a few minutes ago. Upon installing and launching the app, I see the above mentioned error popup. This error is not allowing me to open the app.

 

Please suggest some ideas. I couldn't find anything useful on internet.

    You can hold down the Option key when launching C1 and it will allow you to choose from the list of recent catalogs/sessions.  Sounds like maybe on your last import, the Import To/Destination was set to Current Location (memory card, I'm assuming)...just a guess.

    I would not recommend trying to creatre a catalogue on a memory card.

    Is there any reason why you seem to be doing that?

    Is the card in the camera or in a card reader?
