How soon before the release of C1 21 can I upgrade my version 12 to 20 and still qualify for a free upgrade to 21 when it appears?

    This has not been communicated to the public or communicated at all. From past experiences, there has been a 30-day grace period.

    That said, it is safe to say that if you would upgrade today, with CO20 almost 8 months old, you will not be entitled a free upgrade to the next major version, when available.

    Maybe Capture One will start inviting current users to upgrade before the release of the next major version, as it did last year. But again, nothing has been communicated to the public on that either.

    If you need CO20 now, you could consider a monthly subscription.
