Beyond Styles B&W problem with Grain

Hi,

I'm running C1-20 on a MacBook Pro 2018. O/S completely up to date.

I purchased, downloaded and installed the B&W version of Beyond Styles.  I can't get both B&W and GRAIN styles simultaneously.  If I add a B&W style, then add a GRAIN effect, the B&W disappears and I'm back to the original colour.

Am I missing something?

  I personally never use styles. They are like cooking recipes that
  won't necessarily complement the actual recourse: your picture.
  
  I prefer to convert to B&W and apply directly a grain emulation.

  Not quite sure if I understood it correctly, but open the tab Adjustments where the styles are and click on the 3 points ... at the top right of the tab header and select "Stack" to combine the styles
