Independent Color Readouts

If I have two images open in the browser and place a color readout in one of the images another readout is automatically placed in the second image in the exact same location.

Is there a way to delink the two readouts so I can place two independent readouts onto the images so I can adjust the second one to match the first image (in different locations)?

    I don't know whether you can delink them, but you can add a second readout (or as many as you like) in the location you want.

    The readouts are an overlay that will be applied to all selected images.

    Ian's advice is the option available. Unless the Normalize tool would help in some way. (I suspect it might not be the tool for the task you have in mind.)
