I suppose it depends how much digging you want to do yourself.

I would suggest that you have a look at the Windows Event Viewer under Windows Logs and Application to see if there are errors.

You could also have a look under C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Local\CaptureOne\Logs to see what is there.  Then I would suggest that you submit a request and provide the logs to the support staff, maybe they can help identify the reason.

You could also try a reinstall, i.e. uninstall and reinstall.

Thank you for the answer. I tried to find the Log data under the described path and also had a look at the Event Viever, but I couldn't find any logs or other notifications about capture one...

Humm, that's odd. Can you browse to the program directory under c:\program files\Capture One?

Note that I don't know the folder that Capture One was installed to, I have assumed Capture One in the above path. Regardless, find the application directory (where Capture One is installed), you should see a bunch of folders and files, one of the files should be an executable. Double click on it if you find it and see if it runs. If not I would suggest that you uninstall and reinstall.
