What does 100% Zoom really mean?
I am new to Capture One and I have a new camera. I am noticing some pixelation when I zoom in to an image. I am trying to determine if what I am seeing is normal for the camera.
I am using a Fuji XT3 so the sensor is approx 24x16mm with approx 6000x4000 pixels. When I am at 100% zoom I can see some pixelation on my monitor so I am trying to determine if this is normal or not. Therefore, I am trying to determine exactly what 100% zoom means so that I can equate what I am seeing on my monitor to the pixels on the sensor.

Hi,
Zooming at 100% means that 1 pixel of the image is represented by 1 pixel of the display.
Pixelation will start to appear when multiple pixels of the display are used to represent 1 pixel of the image (zooming in at more than 100%). When zooming out, 1 pixel of the display will represent multiple pixels of your image, which means loss of details.
Now you have to understand that you are generally zooming in or out the preview of your image, not the original. So, if you have specified a small size in Preferences | Preview image size, pixelation may appear when zooming in. The smaller the size, the sooner pixelation will appear.
The value of Preview Image Size should be at least the width of your display in pixel.
