Verify Catalog Progress Screen
ImplementedHello,
I have had to verify my catalog a few times lately. The progress screen just shows transfer in progress each time it checks/copies another image to the new database. The problem is that for the unknowing, the screen appears to be locked. I know it is not by highlighting some text and watch it move up the screen as another file is checked.
I would be helpful if on each line you showed the image folder and name being copied and a counter. This way we know how far along the check is and can guess at how much longer it will take.
Thanks.

Hi there,
Thank you for feedback on Capture One - this is always welcomed and encouraged among our users and we appreciate the time you've taken to contribute towards the development of the software.
I have forwarded your comments and suggestions to our Product Management team as something to consider in a future release.
Whilst we cannot comment on future releases, we take all suggestions on board and hopefully your feedback contributes towards a future version of Capture One.

Hi
The transfer is being in progress for more than 2 days now (25k images catalog), and this screen is not helpful at all, I can just be sure the process is not blocked since the number of lines is still growing.
What is the way to know where the progress is at this time by checking internal temporary files?
Is it a problem to stop CO in the middle of the process?
Thank you Lily (and Michael... hope your voice will be listen)
Eric, on CO 20 Catalina.

Capture One 20 Pro, "Verify catalog" still has the above-mentioned deficiencies.
Roughly 11,000 photos in the catalog, the Verify has been running for 5 days now.
NVMe hardware-based filesystem connected on a dedicated Thunderbolt 3; MacOS X 10.15.7 Catalina, 64GB RAM. 6-core Intel i7 @ 3.2GHz. It seems like Capture One is taking roughly 3 to 5 seconds per image.
1) Would be really helpful for a start date/time to be displayed at the top of the Verify log.
2) If possible to pre-determine, the number of images to be verified also displayed at the top of the Verify log.
3) Count of images restored for each line of "Transfer in progress" output.
4) "Transfer in progress" display bar does not provide useful information.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions/improvements for speeding this up; I'd like to be able to use this catalog. Please let me know if a process trace would be useful.
