Pinned tools on both sides of screen?

As an Aperture castaway, I would very much like to be able to have my Library section pinned to the left side of the screen, while the rest of the tools are pinned to the right side of the screen. I know I can float it, but that's not what I'm looking for. Library on left, browser at bottom, all other tool palettes on the right.

Add a "Vault" like quick synchronized backup feature (yes I know can I do this all in the file space with other software) and a SmugMug plugin, and I'll be almost right back at home, with all the better tools from Capture One.
