No camera Detected on Mac Os Catalina
I've just spent a whole day trying to get my camera to connect. I thought I had tried everything when I finally found the solution.
Because I haven't used Capture One for a while and my Mac Os had since been updated it was now asking me to allow lots of permissions on start up.
I stupidly must have clicked 'Don't Allow' when asked to allow access to files on a removable volume.
There's no way to change this permission later but you can reset it so it asks you again.
You do this by running the below commands in the Terminal
tccutil reset SystemPolicyRemovableVolumes com.captureone.captureone13
tccutil reset Photos com.captureone.captureone13
After doing this I was able to allow the permission and then the camera was finally detected.
It was a silly mistake but easy to do and not easy to realise afterwards so I hope this helps others with the same issue.
