Exporting variants - nothing happens CO20(13.0.4)

Running under WIndows 10.  Exporting originals works fine, however, when I try to export selected variants (have tried single and multiple) nothing happens. I am trying to export ARW files to TIFF (also tried JPG and PSD).  There is no exporting message window, no completed message, no error message and nothing in the export destination folder.  Have tried many variations and always the same - nothing.

    It is expected that when you select to export variants that a window pops up which let you choose export parameters like file type, e.g. Jpg, etc. Do you see this window? Does it maybe pop up behind the main window (it shouldn't but who knows...). Move the main window out of the way, don't minimize it.

    Instead of exporting, you can try to 'process' the variants (unless you have the Express version which doesn't have feature if I remember right).

    Yes, the window does pop up and I enter destination, file type, est.  It also says, for example, 'export 3 images'.  But when I push the export button and the window disappears, nothing further happens.  There is no message saying exporting ... and no files ever appear in the destination folder. :(

    There is a problem that I have seen with this process. When I export I get two tools that have destination locations in them. The Export Location/ Destination field and the Export Recipe / File tab. The actual destination where the files are put was not obvious to me initially, and to be honest, I have to basically test it to see which one is used. Check both destinations for your exported files.

    You should see an "Activities" window?

    You probably need to have a look at the log files or have someone look at them for you.

    Also try the Process Recipe route to see if that gives a different result for some reason. That requires a Batch Queue to be running. It should tell you if is isn't running.

    You seem to run build 13.0.4. I do not know what prevents you from keeping your software up to date, but I suggest that you install the latest build (13.1.2 now) and see whether that helps.
