    V. 12 was very fine on my iMac machine. Many did experience
problems with v. 20. Personally, I did not experience your dif-
faculties… but welcome to the club!

This is a user-to-user forum, so we are only your fellow users of the app. Possibly someone may have some ideas that could help, but you would be best to contact Capture One using the Submit a Request link at the top right of this page, and see if Support can help you sort it out. I'd have thought that you should be fine with a late 2018 MBP - mine is much older than that, and doesn't have as much RAM as it should, but it seems to be OK. So I imagine it is a solvable problem.

If you want more discussion with other users here, tell us a bit more, such as what version of MacOS, how much RAM, whether you are using catalogs (if so, how large?) or sessions, etc, etc.

First try with the latest build, 13.1.2, available today. Verify your session or catalog. Build a new session or catalog if verification does not help.

Let us know if you need more help.
