No live histogram on live view when tethering?
ImplementedCorrect me if I am wrong, but there's no live histogram on live view when tethering? Am I missing something here? This makes no sense to me. To see the 'live' histogram, I have to go back to look at the histogram in live view on the camera LCD. I have to close live view in Capture One to be able to see live view on the camera, then close that to go back to live view in Capture One! It's a lot of faffing around & kinda defeats the purpose, especially when I'm trying not to disturb the camera mounted on a copy stand, delicately focussed down on the grain in the film I'm trying to 'scan' with the camera. Come on Capture One, you really need to have live histogram! Cheers...

Hi Paul,
Thank you for feedback on Capture One - this is always welcomed and encouraged among our users and we appreciate the time you've taken to contribute towards the development of the software.
I have forwarded your comments and suggestions to our Product Management team as something to consider in a future release.
Whilst we cannot comment on future releases, we take all suggestions on board and hopefully your feedback contributes towards a future version of Capture One.0 -
Paul,
One other option for you would be to switch to Composition Mode, create a frame (which will be discarded in that mode) and review it in the existing Histogram options - Exposure Evaluation for example could be most useful.
Remember to turn off Composition Mode before making the frame(s) you plan to keep. ( I mention this in case yo are not already familiar with the feature.)
It occurs to me that it may be that not all camera manufacturers make their internal (usually low resolution?) Histogram feeds available. Also that in many situations - in fact perhaps any time when a copy stand and fixed lighting are not in use - any histogram oriented data may be not as helpful as one might imagine.
Still, it's something for the developers to think about.
