Windows File Explorer Crash
Having issues where my Windows File Explorer crashes. This happens when I split my screen on any application when Windows File Explorer is open. This only happens when I have Capture One 20 installed on my PC (Capture One 20 doesn't even need to be running for this issue to occur). When I uninstall Capture One 20, this issue does not occur. I have tried installing/re-installing CO20 three times and I keep getting the same issue. I am on the newer Windows 2004 update but also had this issue with Windows 1909. This issue is preventing me from using my PC as I should be able to, leaving me with no choice but to not have Capture One 20 installed... rendering my subscription useless. Is there a fix to this issue/ has anyone else experienced this?

Sorry, but I have not experienced this and I am on Windows 10 Version 2004 OS Build 19041.388. You could have a look under the Event Viewer under Windows Logs and System, it may give you some idea as to what the problem is.

Hi Mark,
I found an old post on the forum from Capture One 6... someone suggested renaming the "P1.WICNativeComWrapper.dll" program file to "P1.WICNativeComWrapper.old" instead.
I have given this a bash and having restarted my PC, this seems to correct my issue. Certainly odd, yet may prove to be the fix. If not I will attempt your method to detect the issue.
Cheers

Yep, odd. Hope it works out.

Moreover, C1 causes an issue with the explorer.exe process when more than two explorer thumbnail windows are opened. Everything is closed and even the copying process stops (if there was one). For a week I have already been catching the problem and reinstalled Windows 10 more than 15 times until I found out that the problem is in C1. If you remove C1, the problem goes away immediately.
I have been working with Capture One since 2014 and such problems are the first time, believe me, this is not a human factor. C1 13/1/2 incompatibility issue - Windows 10 - Nvidia drivers (1070gtx).0
