Synchronize folder option doesn‘t recognize updated files

When a photo is edited in a referenced folder (for example by upscaling to avoid the 512px file size limitation), Capture One does not notice the updated file automatically.

The C1 metadata tool shows the new enlarged and supported size, but the photo remains read-only until you start a manual folder synchronization.

This is bad as it requires the photo to be re-imported and thus all existing album assignments get lost.

Furthermore, the folder sync doesn’t work as Capture One seems to only check the file name (which hasn’t changed). It says nothing to import until you rename the edited file.

Does anybody have an idea how to avoid this issue?
