How to "not copy" or "not paste" background adjustments from one image to other?

I have images A and B, both of them with different background adjustments for white balance, color and exposition. Image A has four additional layers with other adjustments (layers A1, A2, A3, A4). I want to copy A2 and A3 layers to image B, so I copy them from image A and I have the option to select A1, A2 and deselect A3, A4, but I cannot deselect A background.

When I paste adjustments in image B, layers A1 and A2 are pasted correctly, but the image B background is also modified to the settings of A background and I don't found any option to "not copy" or "not paste" the A background.

Am I missing something? Is there a way to "not copy" or "not paste" the A background?
