When deleting photo from catalogue next photo is showing at 100% instead of FIT.

As described in the title.
I'm viewing a photo in FIT mode, then when i delete it (move to trash, or alt delete) the next photo will zoom to 100% view, and as well activity window pops up (though no activities are displayed).

Any suggestions how to stop this behaviour?
