Events Log - Missing ICC Profile starting Capture One 20
Hi there, since a while I get the message "ICC-Profile for Process Recipes not found". I'm working with MBP and calibrated Benq 270C. According to the events log CO20 is looking for a former ICC-profile I have deleted after having done a new calibration of my monitor. In CO20 Process Recipes however I find the current status of the Benq ICC Profil. CO support recommends to run a clean install and sent a link "how to uninstall Capture One". Following this procedure I have to delete as well the default CO catalog after having done a backup. I'm still waiting or an answer why I should delete the catalog, I'm not comfortable with this idea.
Has anybody another idea how to deal the ICC topic?

Your description suggests that you have previously allocated a profile to a recipe (or an image perhaps? Not sure on that one) that no longer exists.
I would have thought that simply changing the recipe or the association with the file edits (if that was the connection) would be all that is necessary. It might take some analysis to work out where the ICC profile has been previously used.
However, if it is an monitor profile is the missing profile really used at some intermediate level with in the Output recipe processing rather than as part of a recipe definition? Are you using Proofing?

No, I haven't so far. But thanks for this proposal. It worked! Once using Proofing, the ICC-Profile in the process recipes changed to the camera embedded. The next step was to chose in the drop down menu that ICC-profile representing the current status of the monitor calibration. After shut down of Capture One and restarting everything went fine, no more message about a missing ICC-Profile. Once again, thanks a lot for your proposal.
