Canon 5d Mark iii not recognized
I used to have Capture one pro 10.. Worked fine. Apparently since I upgrade to Catalina on MAC not recognized. I can select the camera and use it but if I turn the camera off and back on it won't capture the picture. I need to deselect the camera and reselect it for it to connect. They suggested i upgrade to Capture One Pro 20. Once I do that it doesn't recognize the camera at all.
I tried all their steps but nothing is working. I had to remove 20 and go back to the 10 version.. .but selection and re-selecting he camera is not a viable solution. any suggestions?

There are quite some issues with tethering on Catalina. Capture One 10 is not an option for Catalina. It is simply not supported.
Capture One 20 is your best bet. However, some additional configurations may be set. There are some good articles at the support pages here. Most of them relate to the security settings of Catalina.
Please note that it is best not to install the Canon EOS Utility software as it may interfere with the connection.
