Can't install Capture One 20 after installing Capture One Sony Express

    I think your problem is with the license code, I suspect that the Pro version needs a new trial code. The software download will be the same for all versions, but the license code determines which one is activated.

    Yes, I had the new code but couldn't open Pro. Only Express would open. I went ahead and uninstalled Express, installed Pro and all is well.

    Tom,

    The software is the same. The License activation code controls what is made available.

    To change from one to another  - say from Express for Sony to something else - you firstly need to de-activate Express for Sony.

    When you next start Capture One it will ask for an activation key. Use the key for the newly required installation type and it should open with the appropriate set of functionality.

    OK thanks. I took the long way around by uninstalling and re-installing but I'm good now.
