Metadata XMP export
ImplementedHi,
I would like a feature to export all metadata to XMP sidecar files (not syncing, just writing), similar to the current "update metadata" functionality but for writing only.
My use case is, that I use other software beside C1 to manage and access my images, for geotagging and other purposes. But I want to have C1 as the "source" of metadata. Currently there is no feasible (I know, there are workarrounds) method to quickly export the metadata, so that other software can work with a current set.
Kind regards,
Alex

Hi Alex,
Thank you for feedback on Capture One - this is always welcomed and encouraged among our users and we appreciate the time you've taken to contribute towards the development of the software.
I have forwarded your comments and suggestions to our Product Management team as something to consider in a future release.
Whilst we cannot comment on future releases, we take all suggestions on board and hopefully your feedback contributes towards a future version of Capture One.

Hi Lily,
When exporting to JPEG using the standard full size recipe, C1 (build 15.0.0.192 4e1a194/OSX 12.1) appears to embed the IPTC metadata into the JPEG by default. Is there an option to set during export to generate an XMP file instead of (or along side of) the rendered JPEG file?
Many thanks,
Ben
