When you get a new license it invalidates the old license. You can use the license you got with Capture One 20 on Capture One 12.
As for the crashes -- reinstall does not remove remembered user defaults and remembered user defaults can sometimes be the cause of crashes. The easiest way to remove user defauts is to do this:
quit Capture One
launch Terminal.app and enter this command:
defaults delete com.phaseone.captureone13
quit the terminal.
Re-launch Capture One 20

Thanks for your message.
I entered this command but I get message:
"Domain (com.phaseone.captureone13) not found. Defaults have not been changed
What can I do now?
Btw. I have reinstalt all system on my iMac now - and still its the same problem0 -
OK. I think that means Capture One has never successfully run on your machine. Which reminds me...
What version of macOS are you running?
Many have reported that Capture One does not work on High Sierra, 10.13. Capture One support responded to those complaints by saying their hardware was too old. Users proved Capture One support wrong by updating macOS to Mojave on the same hardware and finding that Capture One ran fine.

I have iMac2017, 3,4ghz, 16gb, macOSCatalina
I was using capture one 20 for 1 month and it was ok so its not this problem. Now I can not open it.It must be some solution

The next step is probably to see if it is something about your user setup that is triggering the issue. The usual advice is to open System Preferences. Click on Users and Groups. Click on the lock and enter your password. Use the + button and create a new user. Log in as the new user and see if you can run capture one.

Wow !!! It works:):):) But how can I fix it this on my account?:)

That is the hard part. Sometime after the last time you successfully ran capture on on your account your user environment changed in a way that Capture One doesn't like. Maybe there was a crash, or you installed something, or I don't know.
But now that you know Capture One works you can look at other things.
I think my next step would be to log back on as your regular user and try to launch capture one while holding down the option key. Instead of reading the last session or catalog you had open it should start up with a small window asking what session/catalog you'd like to open. IF you see that window before you select something to open go to File -> Verify Catalog or Session... and navigate to the catalog or session you want to open and verify it.
If you don't get the small window to select a catalog you'll have to look elsewhere.

When I click (right) on the icon Capture one then I can see names of catalogs. What is strange - I was delete them long time ago. But I can not open them now.

Capture One -- and all Mac programs -- remembers the names of things you've opened the the past. It doesn't mean that all those things still exist. Once you get capture one launched without crashing you can use FIle -> Open Recent -> Clear Menu to get rid of all items.
