First off, I just want to say that I love this software, and can't imagine ever going back to Lightroom. However, there are 2 things LR has missing from C1 that REALLY slows me down.

1) Auto Keystone/Straightening Tool.

2) Dust Spot "view mode" to easily identify and remove dust spots.

That's it. If we get those then it's the perfect raw processor in terms of performance and speed. Of course there are other things, but they're more brand new features rather than improvements.

  Gary,

   

  You may or may not know about these points so I'll just mention them.

   

  1.  This is possible for Phase One cameras because the more recent ones have the appropriate sensors built in and so have data to work with. Is the same true for other camera bodies?
  2.  There are some techniques for making dust spots more visible when dealing with them. Things that can easily be undone when the task is complete because the regular dust/spot correction tool is a form of "healing" and so adapts to other changes.
  3. There is also the LCC tool that can be used for Dust Spots.

  I agree with you, Ellison. 

  Very useful features. Wish I had them in C1.

  We have a couple of similar ones for dust spot visualization as well.

  I will forward your request to the Product Management team as something to consider in future releases.
