In the future the art directory should send you EIP files.   That keeps the original raw file and all develop and metadata settings in one place and eliminates the need for the following...

I think you'll need to know if they used C1 12 or C1 20 to edit the photos.  Assuming they used C1 20

    • Create a session.   Use Show in Finder to look at the folders Capture One created.  Quit Capture One
    • Open the Capture folder and copy your original raw file into that folder
    • Create a folder inside of your Capture Folder named CaptureOne
    • Open the newly created CaptureOne folder
    • Create a new folder names Settings131 inside of the CaptureOne folder
    • Open the newly created Settings131 folder.  Copy all .cos and .comask files into that folder.
    • Re-launch Capture One.   You should see the adjusted images.  The Cache files are not needed.   Capture one will create them on demand.

I think that will get you going.  Good luck.

If possible, I would ask them to package the files as EIP packages from within Capture One.  That way the files they send you will include all edits and you can just import them into a catalog or open them within a session.

I work in the publishing industry and it is the usage to send the whole folder
    — including the RAWS + the CO generated folder — compressed.

I prefer to to open the project as a session, I never work in catalogue.

Hi. I have the RAW files as well as the Settings131 folder.

When i follow the instructions above, the images do not reflect the changes and i am not sure what i am doing wrong.
