Is is possible to customize the way Capture one disambiguates filenames when processing images?
Hi!
With the file naming convention I use, I quite often end up with duplicated filenames when I process images. By default, Capture One handles filename disambiguation by adding a whitespace and a single digit counter to the filename. I wonder if this behavior can be altered and if it is possible to customize filename disambiguation in the export process?
Specifically, I would like to have an underscore instead of the whitespace in the naming disambiguation. For instance, if I have two images named YYYY-MM-DD HH.MM.SS.RAF and YYYY-MM-DD HH.MM.SS.TIF, which can be the case with multiple copies of the same image, and I want to export those images to the same folder as jpeg-files and using the image names as filenames, the result will be two files named YYYY-MM-DD HH.MM.SS.jpg and YYYY-MM-DD HH.MM.SS 1.jpg. But the output I want is two files named YYYY-MM-DD HH.MM.SS.jpg and YYYY-MM-DD HH.MM.SS_1.jpg. Can this be done?
And a related question: Is there a way to control which file gets the added characters when disambiguating files? With the above example, even if the images are sorted in capture one with the raf-file before the tif-file, the raf-file gets the added withespace and counter digit. Preferably, I would like it to be the other way around. I have no idea if this is doable or what determines this behaviour. Might even be the OS, I don't know.
Also note that I do not want to add counters to the file naming in my process recipes.
TIA
Rickard
